CAPiTA Snowboards feature a unique design. Therefore, we would like to point out that the graphic on the board depends on its size. This means that for different board lengths, there may be different graphic patterns, each specifically designed for the particular model and size. Unfortunately, there is no option to choose the graphic when purchasing – the design is assigned based on the board’s size, and each one has been created to perfectly complement the board’s proportions.
The CAPiTA Mercury snowboard is an extremely versatile board. It performs great both on groomed slopes and off-piste. It even has a place in the park on jumps!

SINTERED BASE: HYPERDRIVE™ BASE
HYPERDRIVE™ is a unique formula developed exclusively for CAPiTA’s The Mothership factory, not found anywhere else. CAPiTA engineers worked tirelessly with a leading polyethylene supplier to develop this base with outstanding glide performance, thanks to its high molecular weight and special additives used in the production process. This sintered material has a patented composition and is incredibly fast. CAPiTA riders ride hard, so we use the most advanced and fastest base available.
LAMINATE: PLT™ – PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to the already-pressed snowboard. This is unique in the snowboard industry, as most companies apply graphic topsheets using glue, heat, and pressure during the pressing stage. This causes the fiberglass texture underneath to show through the topsheet. And since no one wants to pay for a rough-looking board, many brands coat their boards with thick, toxic lacquer to smooth the surface. This is HEAVY, prone to cracking, and very harmful to the work environment. The PLT™ machine produces a feather-light, smooth, glossy finish without the toxic baggage, resulting in a stunning, multi-level laminate structure. The mix of matte and glossy elements with gold lettering makes a big visual impact. Along with the final in-press ink transfer, CAPiTA uses both digital and traditional screen printing methods, creating multilayered graphics.

SIDECUT: NEW AGE PROGRESSIVE DEATH GRIP™ – an advanced edge design that combines progressive sidecut with Death Grip™ technology. A progressive sidecut consists of two or more radii, allowing easier turn initiation, increased control, and maximum power exiting turns. Death Grip™ adds a reverse arc in the middle of the board, increasing contact points and providing better grip and precise pressure application.
